Not Another Timid Soul is a song about letting go of the habit of chasing people; especially when it comes to romantic relationships and connections.
One of my favorite Bible verses came to mind when I was writing the song:
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." - 2 Timothy 1:7
Every time I play this song it's a gentle reminder to myself to never have a spirit of fear and timidity and take whatever risks necessary in order to grow and become the kind of person I was meant to be.
